Godly, Anointed, Visionary, Innovator, Caring, Loving, Devoted and Committed are some of the attributes which come to mind, when you describe pastor, Dr. Edward L. Ross. A man of God with a heart for people and a message of deliverance deeply rooted in the power of God. His anointing is evident and his dynamic delivery of the word of God injects hope, faith and life into the lives of the people God uses him to touch.

Pastor Ross has ministered at various seminars and conferences covering a wide range of topics such as marital and single relationships, ministerial purpose and direction, men and women empowerment, family focus as well as motivational speaking in the business sector, expanding the message of the kingdom in the world. Deeply devoted to his God-given vision to provide educational tutoring for academically struggling youth and GED opportunities for adults, partnering with public schools to provide spiritual guidance for troubled youth, economic empowerment.

A native of Waco, Texas, Pastor Ross answered the call on his life in 1994. In 1997, he became the Senior Pastor of the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Under his leadership, the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church has grown in number and spirituality, with a vibrant youth ministry, age relevant women’s ministry, Men A.L.I.V.E men’s ministry, W.O.W young adult ministry and developing singles and marriage enrichment ministries and community outreach ministry. In 2003, the church entered into a new edifice which accommodates the growing membership.

Pastor Ross received the Doctor of Divinity degree in 2008, from the Inter-Baptist Theological Seminary and continues to educate himself in theological studies. In addition he also serves on the faculty of the Academy of Lay Ministry in Waco, Texas.

Married to the lovely Shelia Ross of Waco, Texas and the father of three wonderful children, Damon (deceased), Candice and Christian, Pastor Ross cherishes his roles as husband and father.
